Privacy Policy

For the Cloud Storage Android app
Effective date: October 29, 2026 · Last updated: October 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mi Tech Apps ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Cloud Storage and its related backup, restore, file-management, and sharing features (the "Service").

1. Information we handle

2. Device permissions

The app requests access when you use a feature that needs it. Depending on your Android version and choices, this can include shared files and media, contacts, camera, and notifications. Shared-storage access is used to select, back up, restore, or process files; contacts access is used for contact backup or restore; camera access is used for capture features; notifications show service and transfer updates. You can manage Android permissions in your device settings.

3. How we use information

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your uploaded files. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the Service, including Google services for sign-in, Play billing, analytics, diagnostics, messaging, and advertising, and cloud hosting and storage providers.

When you create a Quick Share link, you choose its access scope. A public link can be used by anyone who has the link; a signed-in-only link requires the recipient to sign in. Share links are view/download links, can be revoked, and expire after the period you select (1, 3, 7, or 30 days). Recipients may download a shared file while the link is valid.

5. Storage and security

Connections to our service use HTTPS/TLS. Cloud files are encrypted at rest using AES-256. Access to files is controlled through your account and the sharing choices you make.

Some gallery organization and classification features analyze images on the device using ML Kit. Images used for this on-device classification are not uploaded for that classification.

6. Retention and deletion

You can request account deletion in the app’s Settings or contact us at mi.techsolutions130@gmail.com. Deleting your Cloud Storage account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage subscriptions in Google Play.

7. Your choices

You can manage Android permissions in device settings, choose whether to accept optional app analytics and diagnostics in the app’s consent flow, and manage ad choices through Google’s consent tools and device settings. You can update your profile name, delete files, revoke share links, or request account deletion in the app. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Service or our data practices change. We will update the effective/last-updated date on this page and provide an in-app notice when appropriate.
